Cher at Philips Arena, Atlanta – 12 May 2014 – D2K Tour
A spectacular display of lights, sets, costumes, dancers, flying acrobatics, skimpy outfits, sequins, boas, smoke, lights, and mirrors – with the instantly recognizable voice that is simply not able to to be imitated – it was exactly what a Cher show should be! Among the sequences was a very touching tribute to Sonny during which images of them played on the huge backdrop while Cher sang “I Got You Babe.” She also had several reels of her hundreds of magazine covers and TV & movie performances. They brought back many memories. What a amazing entertainer she is – truly an icon of our time. She said this tour (“D2K – Dressed To Kill”) was her “last tour” but she’s said that before – but still, get to a show while you can. More dates to the tour just added for September. Go and have a fabulous night.
