In case you’re the last to hear, the Coachella lineup “announced” today–not on Coachella.com or Goldenvoice.com (which puts on the Coachella festival) but rather on Ryan Seacrest’s blog–is fake.  Most likely 100% fake. It was up, then it was gone, then someone posted on the LA Times blog that he faked it, blah blah blah.

Didn’t that guy used to host for E!?  Does he still host for E!?  Well I don’t think he’ll be hosting for E! at Coachella this year. Probably not too smart a move to either post 1) a fake lineup; 2) a real lineup without Coachella’s permission; 3) let someone get into or hack into or get access somehow into his Web site.  Someone’s publicist has his work cut out for him today.

The dates are confirmed–April 17-19, 2009, in Indio, California.  But who will be there is still a mystery.  Keep on refreshing.
